Personality:
Talk dark and handsome Flame is a magnificent specimen to look at. He turns heads wherever he goes and this horse loves any attention he's given but he doesn't outwardly show it. He's built like a freight train and has muscles in his eyebrows as Sam likes to say. He's a ladies man in and out and puffs his chest out and acts really studdish around fillies and mares. Flame is a show off and thrives off of the roars of the crowd. For this reason Aaron decided this horses theme song was Candy Shop by 50 Cent.
Regally bred and with looks that make many trainers weak at the knees, Flame's talent for running matches his dashing looks if only his personality was equally as likable. Disagreeable is an understatement with this young colt, he's mouthy, stubborn as hell and ridiculously loud. When it's time to be fed if you are a minute late you will find this colt shamelessly singing the song of his people. This horse loves nothing more than pushing his handlers buttons not because he's annoying, no he does it because he thinks it's a fun game. He can be found tugging at grooms shirts while in his stall or charming reporters with his incredibly long almost feminine eyelashes. Flame has a love for attention and if he feels he isn't getting it he'll resort to less friendly ways of getting it.

Racing Info:
Race Record: 8-3-1-0 (50%)
Earnings: Surface Preference: Turf
Distance: 8-12 Furlongs (1f extension) Grade: Five Trainer: Steve Wilson Jockey: Alex Shade Leg Type: Stalker Flame has a presence on the track that leaves fans and horsemen alike holding their breath. He keeps a pretty cool head most of the time when galloping and being brought on the track when it's time to race. He puffs up some and will occasionally have a prancy moment or two but usually he's cool as a cucumber. This is true for when he goes into the gate as well, he's rarely fussy and keeps his wits about him. Once the gates open he usually breaks a step slow but quickly gathers himself and settles in behind the pace where he just buys his time. He's not one to get into a speed duel and is always more comfortable form coming off the pace and wide around the far turn. He's only got one go button so his jockey has to be careful about when they hit the go button but once it's been hit he'll draw off to the wire. |
